Shawn Walsh is the Cinesite Group Chief Operating Officer for VFX and General Manager of Image Engine. Based in Vancouver, he oversees visual effects operations, client relations, and global business development across Cinesite’s worldwide network of studios, including Image Engine in Vancouver, Trixter in Munich, and Cinesite locations in Montreal and London. For more than two decades at Image Engine, Shawn has helped guidethe studio through major milestones and award-winning projects, from District 9 to Skeleton Crew, The Mandalorian, and Game of Thrones. He brings an artist-first perspective to executive leadership, having originally started his career in animation, lighting, and compositing.
