Peter Ramsey began his career as a storyboard artist on a number of feature films such asBram Stoker’s Dracula, Boyz n the Hood, and Fight Club.  Entering the world of feature animation, he directed Dreamworks Animation’s Rise of the Guardians in 2012 and was a director on Sony Pictures Animation’s Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse in 2018, which won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.  He was an Executive Producer on the Oscar-Winning animated short Hair Love and in 2023 received an Emmy for his work on the Netflix animated short anthology We The People.    

Currently Peter is developing and acting as Executive Producer on both live action and animated projects including Kizazi Moto, a new animated anthology for Disney Plus, animated features for Netflix and Sony Pictures Animation, and the Spiderverse sequel Spider-man: Across the Spiderverse.  

His latest work as director includes the Netflix miniseries Lost Ollie and episodes of The Mandalorian and Ahsoka for Lucasfilm/Disney Plus.
