Heiko Burkardsmaier is the VFX Executive Producer and Head of Business & Legal Affairs at Accenture Song VFX in Stuttgart, Germany. After completing his law degree at the Eberhard-Karls-Universität Tübingen, he transitioned into the entertainment sector, working as legal counsel and managing operations for major media and VFX companies.
With over two decades of industry experience, Heiko oversees the business, legal, and production frameworks for a wide range of international feature films and television series. His team’s portfolio includes contributions to projects such as Game of Thrones, Stranger Things, The Penguin, and Dune: Prophecy. In addition to his studio role, he serves as a board member for the Animation Section of the German Producers Alliance, advocating for the economic and legal interests of the VFX community
