After graduating with a master's degree in media economics, Apollonia joined Mackevision (now: Accenture Song Content Germany GmbH) as a bid producer in the sales department. In 2019, she moved to the VFX department, where she has been working as a VFX Producer since spring 2020. Since then, Apollonia has produced TV series such as Stranger Things Season 4, Lost in Space Season 3, Foundation Season 1, and Shadow & Bone Season 2 for which the Accenture Song VFX team got nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Special Visual Effects.
