Andrew Jackson is an Academy Award-winning VFX Supervisor at DNEG with over 30 years of experience working on projects that showcase the power of invisible VFX. In 2021, he was awarded the BAFTA and Academy Award for 'Best Special Visual Effects' for his work on Christopher Nolan's film 'Tenet', and was nominated for a BAFTA - and received a VES award - in 2018 for his previous collaboration with Nolan on the critically acclaimed World War II action-thriller ‘Dunkirk’. He continued his work with Nolan in 2023, working as Production VFX Supervisor for the third time on the highly acclaimed film ‘Oppenhimer’. In 2015, Andrew collaborated with George Miller to help create the atmospheric and fully immersive world of ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’, for which he won the Australian Film Institute Award for ‘Best Visual Effects’ and received both a BAFTA and Academy Award nomination. Most recently, he returned to the Mad Max franchise as Production VFX Supervisor for George Miller’s hotly-anticipated prequel, ‘Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga’.
